DESCRIPTION
Suitable for all R107 SL/C Models.
What is it?
The Mercedes-Benz R107 SL/C has a three-piece rear valance, originally made of steel or aluminium. Steel was used on the R107 Convertible models; however the SLC used ‘lightweight’ aluminium panels.
For many years, both steel and aluminium valance panels were impossible to obtain, so we developed our own items.
This is our very own exclusive product, made of Glass Reinforced Plastic (fibreglass).
Our high quality, high strength fibreglass valance panels are more forgiving when it comes to stone chips and corrosion, and are exclusive to SLSHOP.
Where does it go?
This is the right side piece of the rear valance, and replaces original part number 1078850425.
It fits all models, including both SL and SLC. Our GRP units can be used in place of either steel or aluminium valance panels.
Why do I need it?
If your original steel item has rusted, is damaged or is missing entirely, then our GRP replacement is ideal. It is also resistant to rust and corrosion.
What are my options?
We offer all three parts of this three-piece valance kit, centre, left and right. They are in a black resin finish ready for paint. They can be purchased individually, or as a complete bundle comprising all three pieces.
What else do I need to know?
This product fits all European R107 SL and SLC models from 1971 to 1989.
We also offer these rear valance panels in Aluminium and Steel.
