About this M117 V8 SL Mercedes-Benz system:
This is a complete stainless steel exhaust system, replacing every aspect of the standard exhaust system, including the manifolds. From the centre box, we have replaced the twin pipe, found on the original, with a single pipe extending from the centre box to the new backbox. On the backbox, we have replaced the original, downward facing tips with straight cut, rolled, stainless tips.
Removing the twin centre pipes and opting instead for the big-bore, single tube improves the flow of exhaust gases, giving the car the aforementioned advantages you won’t find from any other M117 V8 exhaust on the market.
The stainless-steel composition offers better protection from the elements, meaning this exhaust system should last for the lifetime of the car.
