What is it?

This is a rubber bulkhead grommet for the Mercedes-Benz R107 SL and SLC which allows the heater pipes to pass through the bulkhead.

A high quality reproduction of the original, no longer available Bulkhead Grommet Heat Exchanger

Where does it go?

These mount inside the bulkhead of the car.

Why do I need it?

Being made of perishable rubber, these degrade over time. If you are undertaking any work in the bulkhead area of the car, replacement of these grommets is essential.
