What is it?
This is a complete Burl Wood Gear Selector Panel for the Mercedes-Benz 107 SLC. It is our own, exclusive reproduction of the now unavailable Mercedes-Benz originals.
This panel is ONLY suitable for SLC models with electric rear windows.
Where does it go?
The interior wood of a 107 SLC dashboard can be split into 6 distinct categories:
- Dash strips
- Heater panel
- Ash tray cover
- Gear selector cover
- Gear knob
- Console box
This panel is a key part of the dashboard, being the elegant gear stick surround.
Why do I need it?
Over time, your interior wood may become faded, damaged or go missing entirely. In harsh climates it is likely to fade. Also key factor is being a delicate part of the car; it can become chipped or cracked through day to day use. Replacing your interior wood makes a big difference to the appearance of your car; after all, if you intend to spend time using your car, you will be staring at the interior wood and chrome often!
What are my options?
We also offer this as part of a complete Burl Wood package deal, including dash strips, heater panel, ash tray cover, gear selector cover, gear knob and console box.
What else do I need to know?
This panel is only suitable for the SLC with rear electric windows.
As with all our ‘exclusive’ products, we build to our own specification - if it isn’t good enough to put on an SLSHOP car, we won’t sell it.
